The United Nations agency-UNICEF, Indian Express and YOGRITU have come together to collaborate on fun, online classes for children, ( The Indian Express EUREKA series) which will give them a holistic yet delightful way to imbibe yoga in their lives.
STRETCH YOUR MUSCLESThe first of the series is muscle intense yoga sessions which focus on the inner core and strengthening the muscle tone of the active little ones.
ITāS IN OUR NATUREThe second in the series use asanas inspired by nature that will make the young students, agile, flexible and strong but also help them appreciate the environment, that they live in, and from which they are learning from.
ANIMAL FUNThe third set of yoga classes are based on poses copied from animals that will make the asanas a delight and help the young ones understand that Yoga is an excellent harmony of body, and mind and soul.
THE YOGRITU CLASS
The YOGRITU classes take you from your Prana, to Mudras, to Asanas to a final Chakra awakening. In over an hour, YOGRITU breathes a new life into your physical, mental and spiritual consciousness.
WHAT IS HATHA YOGA?

It is an ancient form of yoga practiced by Hatha yogis, the founders of Hatha Yoga who discovered this novel way to experience the unity with the universe and your consciousness. They found that certain body postures and movements open up our energy channels, along with our psychic centres.
They did not see Hatha Yoga as a form of exercise. They discovered when you work with the body (asanas), you move to the breath (pranas), then to the mind, then to the inner self, (chakras), then the asanas become the tools to take you to the highest level of awareness. An awareness that is beyond mere exercise, that spreads to each part of your life, making for a complete harmony of body, mind and spirit.

Transforming a virtual force to

Throughout the yoga session my focus is onĀ posture and detailingĀ , so that every student knows how to do the pose in a perfect way. I strongly believe that anyone who sees you doing yoga should be in for a visual treat, and you should be completely aware, mentally present in the moment, and in control of each and every cell within you. There has to be a synchronicity in the way you pose, the stretch of the pose and how long you hold your pose. By controlling our mind and our breath, the true objective of yoga is achieved. Ā Ā In every class, every nerve and muscle from your scalp to toe is worked upon. Since the core is strengthened, the physical body also responds and we are able to perform the most difficult asanas.When we approach our yoga class in this manner, then ourĀ whole being gets involved and every aspect of our identity, personality, and consciousness is exercised too. There is complete ease and harmony in oneās mind and body.
